The Atlas® TC289DAA Rim Clamp Swing Arm Tire Changer is a heavy-duty machine designed for general automotive service departments, medium-sized tire stores, and farm use. This version of the TC289 is equipped with the Atlas® DAA-SA Dual Assist Arm Package, featuring left and right-hand mounted arms with pressing blocks, lifting disks, and bead rollers. The dual assist arms are essential when working with stiff sidewall, low profile, and runflat tires. The arms act as an extra set of hands, reducing time and effort for a single user and ensuring smooth operation even with the toughest tires.
The Atlas® TC289DAA is built with the largest turntable and most clearance available, making it ideal for handling large diameter tires. Whether you're working on SUVs or one-ton trucks, this tire changer is up to the task. It also features a Beadblaster system, designed to easily inflate stiff sidewall or other difficult-to-inflate tires.
Designed to protect both high-value alloy wheels and steel wheels, the Atlas® TC289DAA ensures tire changes are done with precision and care. The machine includes a powerful adjustable bead breaker that can easily tackle the most stubborn beads without damaging the rim. The turntable jaws (which come with plastic covers) hold the rim securely and can be adjusted to three different positions to accommodate a wide variety of tire sizes.
